In April 2024, the Local Authority re-validated our Healthy School and MindMate Friendly status, following a monitoring visit which included a scrutiny of documentation, interviews with the Healthy and Wellbeing leader, pupils and parents. We are extremely proud that this award still recognises the emphasis we place on prioritising the health and wellbeing of our pupils, staff and families!
 

Personal, Social and Health Education at Pool is taught following a discreet curriculum which includes:

• Health & Wellbeing
• Internet Safety
• Modern British Values
• Relationships & Sex Education (age appropriate)

In addition, PSHE interweaves daily through our school vision (Believe & Achieve) and cornerstone values (Compassion, Perseverance, Respect & Wisdom) and some of our policies such as Behaviour and Anti-Bullying.
