Our Cornerstone School Values

At Pool-in-Wharfedale CE Primary School, our four cornerstone values of:
guide all that we do. Pupils are not only taught to understand these values but to also use them in everything they do. Through this, we aim for all pupils to leave Pool with the ethos of, 'if I work hard and demonstrate my values, I will be able to believe and achieve.

Alongside our cornerstone values, the daily act of Christian collective worship plays a central role in the life and work at Pool CE. It provides us with valuable opportunities to reaffirm our explicitly Christian values and ethos. It offers important opportunities to strengthen our sense of community, belonging and inclusiveness, and to reinforce the respect and care we have for each other. Through collective worship, we make a significant contribution to the religious, spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of those present.
