If your child is self-isolating because their school bubble is shut down or if a member of their hosuehold has tested positive / showing symptoms and waiting for a test, they will be provided with home learning via Teams.
Thank you :)

June 2020

Hello everyone! Wow, it has been such a long time since we have been in school all together, but you have all been working so hard at home to carry on with school work and doing your best to stay happy and safe.

Here is a quick update as to what is happening over the next month or so:

  • 29th – 3rd July – A topic based Learning Pool for you to have a go at.  It is a science topic on ‘Animals including Humans’ with a great experiment to plan! There will also be some activities that you can do with your siblings from Pool.
  • 6th – 16th July – Your last Learning Pool. There will be some ‘Leavers’ activities on here for you to have a go at to end your time at Pool.
  • 16th July at 4pm – A Zoom meeting where we hope all of you will join us for our last get together of this academic year.
  • As Mrs Fox has promised you, there will be a ‘Leaver’s party’ sometime in the new academic year, once everything is safer.  We will let you know when and where it is, and hope that you will all join us to say a last fond farewell.

Please remember to send us a message and/or photo through Dojo – we love hearing and seeing what you are all up to!

April 2020

Hello everyone, we hope you are all doing well and are looking after each other.  We have been very lucky with the weather being so pleasant at the moment, so make sure you take advantage of the sunshine!

The Learning Pool that is sent out each fortnight includes all the tasks and links that you will need.  There is a lot on there and we do not expect you to complete all of it; you have to manage your own time within your own family situation which will be different for everyone.  If you find that you would like to do more however, then please use the links at the bottom of the sheet depending on your interests.

Struggling with what to do and when? Have a look at the Twinkl daily schedule which gives you a structure of the day and links to more activities if you wish.  You could, for example, follow the Twinkl schedule but when it says Maths or English, do the work we have set from White Rose and Oak National Academy.

We would really love to hear from you and see what you have been up to, so log on to Class Dojo each week and send us a picture or a message.  This is the main way in which we will communicate with you, so please send us a message!

More than anything, we want you to be kind to each other and stay relaxed and happy during this difficult time for everyone. Please just do whatever works for you and your family in terms of learning.

We really miss you all so much and are really looking forward to being back together.

Miss Smith and Mrs Silvester.
