This homework should last about three weeks. There is no need to complete all of one sheet in one week. There are three levels of difficulty. You should choose the one you feel the most confident to tackle. You might like to dip in and out of the different difficulties as you gain confidence, too. Also attached is an 'angles tool kit' for those who need it. If you fancy an extra push, there is a 4th sheet as an extra challenge.

Homework this week is on Modal Verbs. There are two sheets attached and each sheet has three levels of difficulty. The children should choose the level of difficulty they feel the most confident at on each sheet. If they want to do all or more than just one difficulty level, that's fine, too! Varied fluency should be done first.

There are three lots of homework this week: The first (developing) is for those children who have been working with me during maths lessons. The second is for everyone who has been working with Miss Taylor. The third is an extension activity for anyone who would like to tackle it.

This week's homework is on synonyms and antonyms

There are two sheets for homework this week. For those who would like an extra challenge, there is a third set of questions, too.

Here are the spellings for the next 7 weeks.

Homework will be set once a week in addition to learning pool activities and spellings. Children should be reading daily at home and also accessing the TT Rockstars site at home to ensure rapid recall of times tables up to and including 12 x 12.

All homework can be found on Class Dojo Portfolio as well as in this section of the website. Please upload finished homework to your child's portfolio.

Thank you.

There are four sheets to this half term's Learning Pool. The extras are resources to help with a couple of the activities.

The Statutory Year 6 spellings list is stuck in the back of your child's reading record book and is in the Class Work section of the class page. Each week for the next few weeks, we will be focusing on 5 spellings from the list. Please find below the rest of the spellings for the half term. We will be having a spelling test on Thursday 17th December. This will include 2 random spellings from each lis: a total of 14 spellings. Many thanks, Miss Smith
